About Me....G!

This is something new for me...Blogging. I've seen these things on myspace before but never really thought of trying it out. Well here it goes! My name is Greg Gamble. I have a couple different names that people call me, but for the most part people here at school just call me Greg. I am a second semester sophmore and my major is Communication and my minor is English. Because of my major I have to take this class, although I must say that this is not one of the classes that I think I will wind up hating to have taken.
Here at UB I am a student-athlete. I play basketball for the Men's team. We are having a pretty good season so far. It can get better though. Last semester was a really good semester for me, so I am just riding the wave of success right now and trying to hold on to my surf board. As a freshmen I kind of hit the wall and couldn't get up, but I'm finally back on my feet and running full speed. I enjoy spending quality time sleeping and going to church. I am a very active member at my church. I consider myself to be a very supportive eldest brother to my siblings. I try and take care of my brothers and sisters as much as possible. My interest in academics has increased incrediblly since joining this university. I never thought that I would be the one to enjoy school but so far college has proved me wrong. My most favorable interest is in writing. I love to write and express myself in words and on paper. That is why I am minoring in English. I want to become a journalist and be able to get paid for my writings and how I see things. Hopefully I can be successful here at UB because I really want to be on the Deans List.
I am a very laid back person. I think that I am almost too laid back. I am frequently asked if I am tired and if I am sick. IM NOT! I'm just smooth in everything that I do. :-) I am not a cocky person at all. I love JESUS with all my heart. I love my family with all my heart. I have three younger brothers ages 16, 10 and 10. Yes they are twins. I also have a sister who is 13. She is becoming quite the young lady. I have both my parents which is a blessing. Even though my younger siblings live with both their parents, they still look to me almost as their dad too. I take care of them so much and spend so much time with them that I should be. I love them though. I think that I am a very good person to know. Some athletes, especially basketball players, are really flashy. But if I never told anyone that I was on the basketball team then I dont think that anyone would even know because I believe in truly being humble.
I plan on having a very successful career. Basketball is going to take me where it takes me. After that, I plan on working for espn or some big television or magazine company as a journalist.
